The Duclaux Family is one of the oldest in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This family built up its domaine through the centuries and was one of the first founder members of the appellation association in 1904. The Quiot and Duclaux families built up bonds and family connections over the years. Domaine Duclaux is made up of old vines of which some are more then 120 years old and were replanted after phylloxera, around 1880.


Traditionally kept in glass demi-johns, the Eau de Vie is now matured in stainless steel barrels. Matured for 24 to 36 months.


Tasting notes
Transparent colour. Very fresh and fleshy.
Food pairings
Drink it chilled as an aperitif coktail (coconut, strawberry, pineapple, mint) or "frappée" as a digestive.
