Château du Trignon
Love at first sight turned into a vast estate
Acquired by the Quiot Family in 2006, Château du Trignon lies at the bottom of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Combining legacy and know-how, it now brings together several iconic appellations from the Southern Rhône Valley.
• Appellations: AOC Gigondas, AOC Vacqueyras, AOC Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, AOC Plan de Dieu, AOC Sablet, AOC Rasteau, AOC Côtes du Rhône…
• Terroir: a true mosaic of soil types (rounded pebbles, alluvial deposits, limestone) and microclimates, from the plains to the higher slopes.
• Varieties : Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Muscat Petits Grains.
• Wine Style : a selection of reds, whites and rosés, each true to its terroir.
• Interesting Fact : A gravity-fed cellar was built in the 1970s. At the time, this method was revolutionary.
