A nice balance of fruit and freshness.

Presentation

Presentation
The name Les Couverset is that of a very ancient bourgeois family from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The last descendant of this family to bear the name was Suzanne (a distant ancestor of the Quiot Family). The lands were passed down from generation to generation and are now fully integrated into the Quiot Family Vineyards.
Location
We do not have vineyards in Cairanne; therefore, this wine is carefully selected from our colleagues. It is one of the rare appellations in the Southern Rhône that we do not directly produce. However, the uniqueness and individuality of Cairanne wines have led us to continue selecting this wine since it was elevated to cru status in 2016.
Cairanne is a charming village that reveals itself nestled around a rocky peak, captivating visitors with its red and white wines. The strengths of this appellation lie in its village spirit, which has been nurtured by generations of winemakers who have turned their craft into an art form for excellence.

Terroir
The terroir features clay-limestone soils on ancient garrigues. It faces south, benefiting from exceptional sunlight. The vines are approximately 35 years old.
